Raymundo J. Vazquez

Ray joined Serpe, Jones, Andrews, Callender, & Bell in November 2017.
Prior to joining the firm, Ray served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney’s office and was responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony cases. While at the DA's Office, Ray served as lead counsel on numerous jury and bench trials, motion hearings, and juvenile certification hearings. Ray conducts various aspects of a case, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, voir dire, and trial.
Ray graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2014. While in law school, Ray served as the Case Manager for the Honorable Melinda Harmon at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Ray was promoted to Case Manager after having served as a Judicial Support Specialist and Training Specialist in the District Court Clerk’s Office.
Prior to working at the District Court, Ray served in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Security Guard and was assigned to the Presidential Security Forces at Camp David. After the Marine Corps, Ray worked as a Police Officer and Emergency Medical Technician.
