Lauren S. Harbour

Ms. Harbour joined Serpe Jones in 2017 as a trial and appellate brief writer. Over the course of her practice, Ms. Harbour has collaborated on and authored numerous appellate briefs before the Texas Supreme Court, United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and intermediate Texas appellate courts, including successfully arguing an appeal before the Thirteenth Court of Appeals. Ms. Harbour’s practice is primarily focused on commercial litigation, employment, medical malpractice, and appellate matters. Ms. Harbour brings thorough analysis and persuasive legal writing to achieve efficient results for her clients.

Ms. Harbour received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law-Houston where she was a member of and assistant articles editor of the Law Review. Ms. Harbour was also a decorated member of South Texas’ nationally-ranked moot court team, including receiving numerous best brief and best oralist awards from competitions across the country. From 2009-2010, Ms. Harbour had the privilege of serving as a law clerk to the Honorable David M. Medina on the Texas Supreme Court. When not working, Ms. Harbour enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and is actively involved in Houston’s Christ Community Church, Child Advocates, Inc., and Houston Young Lawyers’ Foundation Adopt-an-Angel Program.
