Joshua Christopher

Josh joined Serpe, Jones, Andrews, Callender & Bell PLLC as an associate in August 2016.

His primary practice area is litigation, focusing on commercial litigation, disputes among healthcare providers, and medical negligence claims. While in law school, Josh was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Frances Stacy, Chief Justice Kem Thompson Frost of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, Chief Justice Sherry Radack of the First Court of Appeals, and was a Law Clerk for the the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.

Josh earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2016. During his time at UHLC, Josh served as Chairman of the Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship and as Head Senior Articles Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. He was Regional Champion of the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition in 2015 and 2016, and was a Quarterfinalist and Third Best Speaker at the SIU Health Law Moot Court Competition in 2015.

Prior to attending law school, Josh attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, where he was named Big Man on Campus, Outstanding Junior, Outstanding Sophomore, a President’s Community Scholar, and a Regents Scholar. He has extensive international experience, having lived in Southeast Asia for eleven years, and is fluent in Spanish. When not working, Josh enjoys running and cycling, and is an active member of Houston’s First Baptist Church.
